    Igangan Attack: Ooni Advocates Robust Security Measure

    The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, called for improved security measures to protect the lives and property of citizens.

    A statement issued Monday in Ile-Ife by Mr. Moses Olafare, director of media and public affairs, Ooni’s Palace, cites Ogunwusi as having made the appeal following Saturday night’s attack on the town of Igangan in Ibarapa Northern Local Government Area in Oyo State.

    The Ooni added that such an invasion was the height of crime which must not go without serious consequences for the perpetrators.
