Google Launches Gemini 3, Ushering in a New Era of Agentic AI

Google on Tuesday announced the launch of Gemini 3, its most advanced artificial intelligence (AI) model to date, aimed at enhancing reasoning capabilities and enabling more interactive digital experiences across its platforms.

The company said the new model, Gemini 3 Pro, demonstrates PhD-level reasoning and sets new records on major AI benchmarks, including a 91.9 per cent score on the GPQA Diamond test for complex problem-solving.

Sundar Pichai, Chief Executive Officer of Google and Alphabet, said the launch marked a new chapter in the company’s mission to make AI more helpful and accessible.

“In this new chapter, we’ll continue to push the frontiers of intelligence, agents, and personalization,” Pichai said.

According to Google, Gemini 3 is now integrated into its Search platform, enabling users to interact with simulations and tools generated dynamically in response to queries.

For instance, users can now explore physics problems through visual simulations or receive custom-built calculators for financial planning.

The company also introduced a new development platform, Google Antigravity, which allows software developers to build and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of executing complex tasks with minimal input.

Gemini 3 has undergone Google’s most comprehensive safety evaluations to date and is now available to users through the Gemini app. Access to advanced features is available to subscribers of Google AI Pro and Ultra tiers.
