Ganduje Goes to Harvard, Transfers Power to Deputy

Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje traveled to the United States of America to participate in a week-long program at Harvard.

A statement issued by Information Commissioner Muhammad Garba said that Ganduje is attending the “Authentic Leadership Development Program” at Harvard Business School, Boston.

He said the governor has passed on power and given the lieutenant governor, Nasir Gawuna, a full mandate to serve as interim governor of the state.

The statement added that all official transactions from now on must be channeled through the Lieutenant Governor’s office for necessary actions.
