    Founder Institute Lagos Opens Application for Cohort IV

    Founder Institute, the world’s largest pre-seed startup accelerator based in Silicon Valley with chapters across 220 cities around the world has opened its portal for cohort IV.

    In Nigeria, FI currently has chapters in Lagos and Abuja, and FI’s mission is to empower communities of talented and motivated people to build impactful, technology-enabled companies worldwide.

    Since launching in Lagos in 2019, the program has created 44 promising technology companies in the region, such as RentIt, Zowasel, BetaStore, Cast.i.ng and many more.

    The Lagos Chapter will once again be led by local startup leaders Adeboye Idowu, CFO, Shap Shap; Chika Nwogu, Founder, WriteMyBusiness; Fasuyi Oluwarotimi, MR, VAS Digimobility Limited; Ifedy Eze, Lead Strategist, Maisematrix Consulting; Omobola Omofaiye, Director, Jump Start Venture Capital; Wande Adalemo, Founder/CEO, Wave5Wireless and the Co-founder, techbuild.africa, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, who doubles as the Regional Director for FI Africa.

    In the words of the Lead Director of the chapter, Ifedy Eze, “we are excited to be launching the next cohort of founders into the Founder Institute program in Lagos.

    “We believe that the future of Africa lies in unlocking value adding entrepreneurship that can create real change and catalyze development across multiple verticals.”

    “This is the mission to which we have committed to, and we look forward to working with this new cohort of founders to move the needle northward in that regard,” he concluded.

    The Founder Institute Lagos Virtual 2021 pre-seed accelerator program begins in January 2021, so aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs looking to build solutions for the future will have the opportunity to:

    Receive constant feedback and regular office hours with 50+ Lagos Mentors, investors, and entrepreneurs.

    Make quick progress on their startup journey using a proven, structured process to get traction and funding that has helped alumni build great products and raise over $950M in funding.

    Get fast-tracked to a suite of post-programs, including Funding Lab, to continue getting expert support for years to come.

    Expand their support network to include startup founders, CEOs, and investors from the Founder Institute’s global network of 4,500+ alumni as well as 18,000+ mentors across 200+ cities.
