House of Representatives has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to delete dead voters from the voter register.
The resolution came after a motion of Leke Abejide who described irregularities observed during the 2023 general elections.
Abejide, who moved the motion on Thursday May 4 , said his late father’s name was seen in the INEC register.
The lawmakers urged the electoral commission to deregister any voter who doesn’t vote in two election cycles.
