Court remands Odogwu Asaba over alleged rape, death of 20-year-old woman

A Delta State court has ordered the remand of content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as Odogwu Asaba, at the Ogwashi-Uku Maximum Correctional Centre over the alleged rape and death of 20-year-old Favour Agbro.

The remand order was granted on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, following an application heard and granted by the court.

Counsel to the late Favour’s family, Awele Ideal, disclosed this in a social media post on Friday afternoon.

She said the remand came barely a week after the autopsy and toxicology test results in the case were made available to the police investigation team.

The case involves allegations of rape and circumstances surrounding the death of the 20-year-old.

The development marks another stage in the ongoing investigation into the death of Agbro.
