Anthony Joshua to Pocket N64bn from Francis Ngannou Fight

    Anthony Joshua, Francis Ngannou fight

Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou are set to earn huge sums from their fight in Saudi Arabia this weekend.

The two are all set for their contest this Friday night and will earn tens of millions no matter who wins.

AJ is looking to set up a huge 2024 in which he hopes to become world champion again, while Ngannou will want to build on his first professional match against Tyson Fury.

The official figures for the purse and prize money have yet to be confirmed but reports from Saudi Arabia say Joshua will earn nearly £40m but it doesn’t include PPV fees or any potential prize money while the Cameroonian will take home $ 20 million, which is around £16m.

The sum would be the most lucrative fight in his career as Ngannou earned $10m from the fight with Fury.

This purse fee doesn’t include any pay-per-view money or fees for winning or lasting the full distance so it’s possible Ngannou could earn over $20m for a maximum of 30 minutes in the ring.
