All the Exclusive Hot Tea from the First Episode of Showmax’s BBNaija the Buzz Show

Showmax’s exclusive BBNaija show “The Buzz” which discusses never-before-seen footage on Big Brother Naija’ Shine Ya Eye’ premiered August 3, 2021 at 7 pm, and it was explosive.

Toke Makinwa, the show’s host, showed us a glimpse of what is to come this season as she was joined by three guest buzzers.

First, she had multi-talented actress and comedian Chigul join her to discuss the new housemates and her first impressions.

They rated the boys and girls in the house according to their “hotness”. They both agreed that all the housemates are gorgeous and have such diverse beauties.

But Chigul was clearly smitten by Boma and says she thinks he’s the hottest man in the house.

Toke Makinwa, on the other hand, says Pere is her type because he’s got the face and the body to match.

They declared Liquorose, Angel and Beatrice as the top three alpha females in the house.

Soon after, award-winning musician Ice Prince joined the ladies on set to talk about the ships in the house.

The rapper shared that the relationships that the show creates are his favourite parts.

“That’s always my favourite part of the show – the relationships. This year, I’m already seeing one ship sailing, which is Sammie and Angel.

“I think that’s going to be a good one. It kind of reminds me of Teddy A and Bam Bam. I hope it turns out to be that beautiful.”

He added that he doesn’t think the two are moving too fast because love at first sight exists.

The last and final guest for this episode of The Buzz, Youtuber Glory Elijah, joined the trio as they discussed some of the craziest episodes from the first week of the show.

They discussed Angel and Maria’s teasing of Boma during their rehearsals and his reaction.

Ice Prince said that Boma is a powerful man because most men would not have remained unaffected by their antics.

As far as Toke is concerned, the timing was off, and he’ll probably have had a different reaction if the time and setting were right.

They also discussed the wildcard situation, and Toke said she loved how Maria played her game and didn’t even suspect her until Biggie revealed who she was.

Glory thought that Maria won hearts with how she handled the situation, especially when the housemates questioned Beatrice.

She didn’t think that highly of Pere and feels that he has a target on his back since he was so unapologetic about the whole thing.

They ended the first-ever episode of The Buzz with clips from some of the housemate’s secret diary sessions.

Big Brother provides these periods to allow the housemates to rant about any and everything, and some of the juiciest details are revealed here. People discuss who they like, who they want to be with, those they can’t stand and more during these sessions.

A brand new episode will premiere on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 7 pm. Toke will reveal more from the secret diary sessions, have superstar guests and discuss the most significant moments from this week’s show.

The Buzz is exclusive to Showmax and airs on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Download the Showmax app on your iOS or Android device to stay updated on all the drama from the BBNaija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition.
