    AfriGlobal Unveils Digital Platform in Nigeria Insurance Sector

    Afriglobal Insurance Brokers Ltd, has launched Insurtech Digital Platform that enables anybody to buy insurance via mobile devices from start to finish without human intervention.

    The App christened Africover247 is designed to enable reporting of claims and processing of payment of claims.

    Casmir Azubuike, MD/CEO, Afriglobal Insurance Brokers Ltd, speaking at the launch event on Friday in Lagos, said that Africover247 smart application enables users to buy insurance via mobile devices from start to finish without human intervention.

    He explained that App is the first of its kind across application in the insurance industry in Nigeria.

    Providing further incites on the usage of the platform, he noted that Africover247 is simple, user friendly and vast for users.

    Azubuike noted that Africover247 is a one-stop shop for all insurance services.

    He said,” the insurance industry in Nigeria has woken up to the challenge and reality exposed by Covid-19Pandemic and the attendant lockdown.

    “It is gratifying to say that Afriglobal has scored another first as anybody anywhere in the globe can buy insurance and report claims via Africiver24.

    “You can now buy insurance, have your policy documents delivered within few minutes as well as report and have your claims settled.”

    Mr. Rasheed Abayomi, Managing Director of Zulfah Group, the technical partners to AfriCover247, speaking at the launch, said the portal is very user friendly and has potential to change the insurance landscape in the country.

    According to him, “the platform has an offer for all, including individuals of all demographics, corporate organization and technology-based companies”.

    He listed some key features of AfriCover247 to include chat box, administration, API adaptability, user experience benefits, loss report, claims processing and payment.

    “Forms and applications can be easily imported into the application and files uploaded in a variety of format using drag and drop,” he said, just as the customer-centric platform has been designed to enable users report their insurance claim from the comfort of their room and have same processed irrespective of normal working days disruptions in addition to relevant security in place.

    He urged for download of AfriCover247 app, with support lines even on social media.
