    Accra Institute of Technology Marks 21 Years, Boosts Innovation

    Accra Institute of Technology (AIT) [www.ait.edu.gh] has celebrated its 21st Graduation Ceremony and welcomed the Class of 2025 during a vibrant combined matriculation and graduation event held on August 23, 2025, at the ATTC/PIWC Hall in Kokomlemle.

    The occasion underscored AIT’s commitment to delivering high-quality, technology-driven education while advancing research and innovation across Africa.

    At its 21st Graduation Ceremony, the AIT celebrated continued recognition as Ghana’s best technology-focused university, awarded by the Ghana Tertiary Awards and Global Business Insight (UK).

    AIT is accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission and is affiliated with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the Open University of Malaysia.

    These collaborations provide students with access to international-standard academic programs and research opportunities.

    The institute’s leadership reaffirmed its commitment to expanding partnerships with leading global universities, creating a pathway for students and faculty to contribute to Africa’s innovation and knowledge-driven economy.

    By combining local expertise with international collaborations, AIT continues to equip students with the tools needed to address Africa’s development challenges through science, research, and technology.

    The occasion underscored AIT’s commitment to delivering high-quality, technology-driven education while advancing research and innovation across Africa.

    The AIT, Ghana’s top-ranked private university, has welcomed 1,094 new students and graduated 505 across undergraduate and postgraduate levels during its 21st Graduation Ceremony.

    Professor Clement K. Dzidonu, President of AIT, emphasized that the institute’s mission is to prepare graduates with the skills and innovation mindset needed to thrive in Africa’s rapidly evolving digital economy.

    Graduates earned qualifications in PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s programs across engineering, IT, business administration, and applied sciences. With a strong focus on research and technology, AIT continues to nurture future leaders who will shape Africa’s industrial and digital transformation.

    The university remains committed to offering world-class academic programs through partnerships with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the Open University of Malaysia.
