    UNILORIN announces Aug. 13–15 Post-UTME screening, sets Aug. 9 registration deadline

    The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has fixed Aug. 13 to Aug. 15, 2026, for its 2026/2027 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise.

    The university disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday by its Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Kunle Akogun.

    According to the statement, the university’s Admissions Officer, Mr AbdulKareem Kunle Sanni, urged candidates who have successfully completed their screening registration to begin printing their examination slips from Monday, Aug. 10.

    Sanni said the examination slips would contain candidates’ scheduled dates, times and venues for the screening exercise.

    He also reminded prospective candidates that the registration portal for both UTME and Direct Entry applicants would close on Sunday, Aug. 9.

    “The portal for screening registration will officially close on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026.

    “Candidates who have completed their screening application should begin printing their scheduled examination slips from Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, and verify their examination dates and times,” he said.

    The university said the Post-UTME screening exercise would be conducted from Thursday, Aug. 13, to Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026.

    It advised all applicants to complete their registration and other admission processes within the stipulated deadlines through the university’s official admissions portal.

    The institution listed the key dates for the admission exercise as follows:

    • Registration deadline for UTME and Direct Entry candidates: Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026.
    • Printing of examination slips begins: Monday, Aug. 10, 2026.
    • Post-UTME screening exercise: Thursday, Aug. 13, to Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026.

    The University of Ilorin urged candidates to adhere strictly to the timetable and ensure they print their examination slips ahead of the screening exercise.
