Facebook has delivered a culturally relevant experience at the recently concluded AprokoNation Fiesta 2025, engaging thousands of young Nigerians through immersive activities and creator‑driven interactions.

The activation highlighted how young adults in Nigeria use Facebook to explore their interests, discover new opportunities and connect meaningfully with others.
Oluwasola Obagbemi, Head of Communications, Sub‑Saharan Africa at Meta, said the event underscored Facebook’s role as a leading platform for conversations around cultural moments.

“Events like the AprokoNation Fiesta offer a powerful opportunity to create spaces where young adults can get together with friends and make new connections around health, wellness and fitness,” Obagbemi said.
The Facebook Wellness Booth, hosted by influencer Eni Adeoluwa, featured interactive creator moments and engaging social activities. Attendees also enjoyed the Reels Booth, where they captured short‑form videos, alongside Facebook‑themed games that added excitement to the festival.
Adeoluwa described hosting the wellness booth as “truly exciting,” noting that Facebook has helped him build meaningful connections with his audience.

The Y2K‑themed activation brought together nostalgia and innovation, creating a vibrant space for content creators such as Emanuella Samuel, Gina Ehikodi, Dr. Chinonso Egemba (popularly known as Aproko Doctor), and Elozonam to interact with fans and grow their presence on the platform.
AprokoNation Fiesta, an annual wellness event, continues to tap into Nigeria’s rising health culture by encouraging young adults to embrace healthy living through games, music and community bonding.
