BREAKING: Diddy Sentenced to 50 Months in Prison Over Prostitution Conviction

American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in prison and fined $500,000 following his conviction for prostitution-related offenses.

The sentencing took place in a Manhattan courtroom on Friday, where Judge Arun Subramanian condemned Combs for what he described as “savage” abuse of his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. The judge said the sentence was intended to serve as a deterrent, citing the “irreparable harm” caused to victims.

Combs, 55, reportedly hung his head as the sentence was read, while his family watched tearfully from the gallery.

The judge also referenced Combs’ continued misconduct, including organizing private gatherings even after being subjected to search warrants and public scrutiny.

“You abused the power and control you had over the lives of women you professed to love dearly,” Judge Subramanian said. “Why did it go on so long? Because you had the power and resources to keep it going.”

Although Combs had previously been cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges in July, the judge allowed evidence from those allegations to be considered during sentencing. Prosecutors argued that Combs showed disregard for the legal process, pointing to his scheduled public appearance in Miami just days after the hearing.

His attorney, Nicole Westmoreland, pleaded for leniency, citing his 2004 Menswear Designer of the Year award as a symbol of his cultural impact.

She broke down in tears during her statement, saying, “It wasn’t just about an award, it was about breaking barriers.”

The sentence marks a dramatic fall from grace for Combs, once one of the most influential figures in global entertainment
