    coach NFF appoints German Bruno Labbadia new Super Eagles coach

    Bruno Labbadia has made a U-turn on his decision to coach the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

    Ravenewsonline recalls that the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF), announced on Tuesday that the German will take charge of the Super Eagles.

    Meanwhile, German news outlet, Kicker reports that the 58-year-old has now rejected the chance to manage the three-time African champions.

    According to the German news outlet, Labbadia rejected the offer following the impatience of the NFF in properly concluding the contract talk.

    Labbadia was initially expected to take charge of the Super Eagles for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

    The technical director of the NFF, Austin Eguavoen could now take charge of the team for both games.

    NFF authorities are yet to comment on the latest development as at the time of filling this report.
