    INEC reacts to claim of appointing a partisan person as head of ICT

    Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reacted to report of appointing a partisan person as head of ICT.

    In a statement released last night, INEC said that the claim was made by Lagos politician, Chief Olabode George. The electoral commission however said that the Femi Odubiyi he claimed to be in charge of its ICT, does not exist within the department.

    INEC also said that its ICT staff are career officers and have never held any political position in any state in the federation. See the statement below;
