    Proxynet Communications Becomes Logitech Authorized Distributor for W/Africa

    Logitech International has appointed Proxynet Communications as an Authorized Distributor for West Africa.

    Logitech is an American-Swiss manufacturer of computer peripherals and software, with headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, and Newark, California.

    Logitech is notable across the global for the manufacture of ergonomic and proficient IT Accessories like Keyboards, Mouse, Headsets, and Video Conferencing kits.

    Proxynet Communications is a PAN African PRO AV and IT Solution Company. Founded in 2003, Headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria with branches in Abuja, Nigeria; Accra, Ghana; Abidjan, Ivory Coast and South Africa. with business presence in Gambia and Cameroun, with its numerous global, strategic partnership; offering the best range of IT solutions to meet the needs of the customers.

    Speaking during a press conference in Lagos, today, the Managing Director of Proxynet Communications, Ozo-Onyali Ifeanyi Edward, said that Proxynet Communications has sealed their partnership with Logitech.

    He said that over the years, Proxynet has developed the backbone to work in the capacity as an authorized distributor for Logitech West Africa.

    Ifeanyi Edward reiterated Proxynet’s preparedness to serve all Logitech Resellers in West Africa and grow the Logitech business, leveraging on its spread across the regions.

    “We are prepared to grow the Logitech’s West Africa’s base in terms of brand awareness; build proper reseller network and support structure. Proxynet is extremely pleased to partner with Logitech and we are confident that our collaboration will generate positive result that will grow the Logitech business”, he said.

    The MD who said that Logitech product varies from– video conferencing solution kits for Education, Government, Health Workers, individuals, etc., added that usage has been on the rise in both Enterprise and Consumer market space, due to the rise in digital collaboration owning to the covid-19.

    “They deemed it wise to have a formidable local partnership and support to serve the West Africa Market hence their appointment of Proxynet Communications as Distributor.

    “The Proxynet Strategy will be to grow the Logitech Business leveraging on its established offices in Nigeria and Ghana for the English-speaking West African countries while the Abidjan (Cote d’ivoire) office will handle the French speaking West African countries.

    “As part of the roadmap, in 2021 Logitech will be launching Logitech University, an online portal that will have resellers access training, marketing resources and certification. Logitech would be setting up a demo center through Proxynet Communications in West Africa across all branches in West Africa.

    “This will serve both resellers and End-Users experience center. Resellers are also assured of competitive pricing and technical support”, he said.
