ARM Bags ISO Certification, Assures Clients of Information Security

ARM Holding Company has announced the receipt of the ISO 27001: 2013 certificate for information security, the leading international standard governing information security management.

Ms Jumoke Ogundare, Group’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday after receiving the certificate in Lagos.

Ogundare said that obtaining the certificate consolidated ARM’s stand to consistently employ world standards in the protection of clients’ data.

“For us at ARM, this is a major landmark. As we all know, the world has changed, and the adoption of digital technology has become the norm.

“However, we know that cybercrime is also more prevalent than ever before. Hence, our ability to give our clients confidence regarding the safety of their data is particularly important,” she said.

Ogundare thanked the representatives of Digital Encode for the rewarding partnership and support ARM has enjoyed with the company.

Dr Obadare Adewale, Co-founder/Chief Visionary Officer of Digital Encode System, who anchored the presentation, commended ARM on its commitment to obtaining and delivering world-class information protection protocol.

“ARM’s leadership has shown the world their commitment to information security management by acquiring the international standard of ISO 27001,” Adewole said.

The Chief Risk Officer of ARM, Mr Gozie Alozieuwa, said: “This is important because the primary asset ARM manages is financial information and this certification reiterates our commitment to adopting internationalstandards in keeping safe and secure this information.”
