    Nigeria Unity Negotiable—Kingibe

Nigeria ambassador to the Lake Chad Basin and cabinet member of President Muhammadu Buhari, Ambassador Babagana Kingibe, has said that Nigeria unity is negotiable.

Speaking after receiving the Lifetime Award from the Sun Newspapers In Lagos yesterday, Kingibe said there’s nothing that’s not negotiable, but maintained that we are better together.

This is contrary to the views of President Buhari who has said several times that Nigeria unity is not negotiable.

Kingibe who was elated while receiving the award said; “ There’s nothing that’s not negotiable. Even marriage is negotiable. You have to discuss how you want to live together.

“We must learn how to live together is peace. There’s no need demonizing one another. We are better off together, because even if you move, you cannot take the land. It will still remain the same.

“ Are you even sure of where you are headed?” He asked.

Kingibe who said he was a product of community support and love having become an orphan at the age of three, said there’s need to respect each other with love in order to have a country where peace and love reign.
