National Assembly Secretary Olatunde Amos Ojo transmitted the Electoral Law (Amendment) Bill to President Muhammadu Buhari for approval on Monday, The Nation has learned.
A source confided that the bill is now with the president.
In December, the president vetoed the bill, which led to a further amendment of the bill by the National Assembly.
However, it is unclear whether the president would approve the revised bill.
This followed the report that the governors are not happy with the new amendments and plan to persuade the president not to sign them.
