Coalition partners of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos State on Saturday reaffirmed their membership and loyalty to the party ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The event, held at White Field High School, Mazamaza, off the Badagry Expressway, brought together party faithful, stakeholders and supporters in a show of unity and renewed political purpose.

Hon. Clifford Uzoma Agugoesi, Chairman of ADC in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, described the gathering as a pivotal moment for the party and the nation.

“This forum is a significant step towards ensuring the success of our great party at all levels and heralds a new beginning for Nigerians tired of years of bad governance,” Agugoesi said.

He said the ADC had emerged as the leading opposition voice in Nigeria, adding that the party was known for its integrity and commitment to democratic principles.

Agugoesi said the ADC was mobilising all segments of society, including women, youth and persons living with disabilities, in line with its constitutional mandate of at least 35 per cent representation for these groups.

He urged members to remain vigilant against internal saboteurs and emphasised the need for unity and consolidation of efforts.

“There is strength in unity. This coalition is more than just a political alliance—it is a family that protects and nurtures its members,” he said.

The chairman cited recent electoral victories in Anambra and Kaduna states as evidence of the party’s growing influence and called on coalition partners to publicly affirm their loyalty by upholding the party’s constitution and mission.

He said the ADC was poised to challenge the status quo and lead Nigeria into a new era of democracy, social justice and inclusive governance.

Ravenewsonline reports that the gathering marked a significant milestone in the party’s preparations for the 2027 elections and served as a clarion call to Nigerians yearning for change.
