FG Approves the Creation of 6 Zone Offices for NBTE

The federal government has approved the establishment of zone offices for the National Council for Technical Education (NBTE) in the six geopolitical zones of the country.

This is contained in the letter of approval from the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu.

The letter was signed by Mr. Adeleye Adeoye, Director of Polytechnics and Related Institutions, Federal Ministry of Education and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna on Wednesday.

He said the Northeast Zone Office would be located at Bauchi Federal Polytechnic and the Northwest Zone Office would be located at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, Katsina.

He added that the zone office for the south-south would be located at Auchi Polytechnic, Edo, while the south-west one would be located at Yaba College of Education Akoka, Lagos state.

The south-eastern zone office would be located at the Enugu Institute of Management and Technology, while the north-central one would be located at Nasarawa Federal Polytechnic.

NAN reports that the executive secretary of the board, Professor Idris Bugaje, had promised to establish zonal offices to carry out advocacy on skills and interface with industries and other agencies in the zones on development. skills.

According to him, this will go a long way in equipping young Nigerians with relevant skills. (NAN)
