Under the agreement, CSSi SA will deploy racks at Africa Data Centres’ facilities in Cape Town (CPT1) and Johannesburg (JHB1), with connectivity to its CipherVault™ data centre in Midrand via 100GB links.

The arrangement provides up to three tiers of redundancy across different footprints, ensuring secure and reliable data storage for South African enterprises.

Adil El Youssefi, Chief Executive Officer of Africa Data Centres, said the partnership underscores the growing need for high-performance and compliant infrastructure in an era of rapid digital transformation.

“As businesses across South Africa and the broader African market accelerate their digital strategies, the demand for scalable, resilient infrastructure has never been higher,” he said.

James Grcic, Chief Executive Officer of CSSi SA, described the collaboration as a cost-saving opportunity for clients.

“By leveraging economies of scale and partnering with Africa’s leading data centre provider, our customers can reduce operational costs by up to 65–70 per cent while enjoying 99.9 per cent uptime guarantees,” he said.

He added that the partnership would give small and medium businesses, as well as resellers, greater flexibility to scale on demand, while opening access to world-class infrastructure for AI and GPU solutions.

Africa Data Centres said the integration with CSSi SA’s CipherVault™ facility would enhance operational efficiency, business continuity, and nationwide low-latency connectivity.

“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to meeting the insatiable demand for data sovereignty and secure infrastructure, ensuring enterprises can manage growing data volumes while navigating complex regulatory environments,” El Youssefi concluded
