Spotify Tunes Into Naija Vibes with Mood-Matching Experience

    Spotify

Spotify has introduced a new marketing initiative in Nigeria titled “Find Your Mood,” aimed at helping users discover playlists that resonate with their emotions.

The campaign, launched earlier this week, features a dynamic mood-matching experience that allows Nigerian listeners to explore curated content based on how they feel. It marks Spotify’s latest effort to deepen user engagement through personalisation and local relevance.

According to the company, the initiative is inspired by research showing that music plays a critical role in helping people process emotions, especially in high-stress environments.

Spotify said the campaign features a range of playlist categories—from joyful and energetic to reflective and calm—designed to match users’ daily moods. It also highlights Nigerian artists prominently across the platform.

The campaign will run across digital channels, outdoor advertising, and influencer partnerships in Nigeria.

Spotify added that the “Find Your Mood” feature has been integrated into its app for users in Nigeria, offering daily mood-based recommendations.
