Commissioner Alabi Moves Against Miscreants, Arrests Traffic Robber In Ilubirin

Following the recent instructions to officers and men of the Lagos State Police Command to get rid of all criminal elements in the State by Commissioner Abiodun Alabi, officers of Adeniji-Adele Police Division have arrested a traffic robber notorious for dispossessing motorists of their belongings at the Ilubirin end of the Third Mainland Bridge.

According to a statement signed by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Police Public Relations Officer of Lagos State Command and made available to the National Association of Online Security Reporters, NAOSRE, the suspect, Charles Igbadoh was arrested following constant patrol by police officers in the area. Further investigation led to the arrest of his receivers, one Odinaka Obiadu and Micheal Adeniyi.

The suspects are currently assisting the Police in an ongoing investigation aimed at arresting other criminal elements in the axis.

The Commissioner has directed that efforts be sustained in all identified black spots in the state towards ensuring that all miscreants in these areas are apprehended and dealt with in accordance with the law.
