Cyber Era NG, leading ICT and Digital Economy Publication has wrapped up plans to partner B2B Conferences and event organizers- Tradepass on two potentially industry disruptive virtual events for the African tech community namely BYTES ’21: LIVE – Africa and 3rd Edition CyFrica: LIVE.

Confirming this development, Clifford Agugoesi, founder and e5ditor-in-Chief of Cyber Era said his organization was tapped by Tradepass as Media Partners for the twin events taking into account its consistent qualitative and quantitative reportage of the ICT industry and the Digital Economy.

Commenting on their choice, Agugoesi said: “This is a clear case of history and contemporary activity speaking for you.

“We have covered their events in the past and they have not only referenced our reports but kept in constant touch with us, the latest being the 2nd CyFRICA 2020 at the Lagos Continental Hotel, before the COVID-19 outbreak.”

On her part, Aritrika Chakraborty, marketing manager of Tradepass  said: “We at Tradepass  are thrilled to  be having  CyberEra Ng as trusted media partner for the above-mentioned events. We look forward to a successful collaboration.”

BYTES ’21: LIVE – Africa  with the theme: Revolutionising Data For A Smarter Tomorrow holds between 20 – 21 April, 2021.

In the wake of incredible disruption, US$68 billion revenue of growth (up 28% every year until 2025) is expected from the Big Data Analytics market in the Middle East and Africa. It is increasingly transforming how businesses and local governments operate in Africa.

Whether to improve the accuracy of flood models and risk forecasting in Malawi, or to offer custom-made services by insurance giants to their customers, big data helps every organisation navigate through the noise and make the right decisions.

Tradepass is excited to bring you Big Data and Analytics initiative in an interactive and engaging way at BYTES ’21: Africa, scheduled to be hosted virtually on 20-21 April 2021, enabling 1500+ attendees to learn, engage, interact and get inspired with 30+ visionary leaders who have unique perspectives on business and technology.

BYTES ’21 offers content and opportunities for every member of the data and analytics team — from technical to senior-level and C-suite executives – to gain the skills to build and execute a top-notch strategy.

Under the theme, Creating A Cyver Safe Africa, the 3rd Edition CyFrica: LIVE  holds between 4 – 5 May, 2021.

The cybercrime figures continue to rise in Africa, especially when there’s an increasing demand for work-from-home in 2021. Experts suggest that the threat actors can explore more ways to take advantage of vulnerabilities in consumer-grade home networks.

While the use of ransomware has increased in popularity, many organisations depend on taking a number of actions: creating employee awareness of cyber risks, making use of security and threat intelligence, protecting against internal threats, to name a few.

With this in mind, the 3rd Edition of CyFrica is gathering over 2000 IT and cyber security leaders including CISOs, CTOs, CIOs and heads of cyber security from 350+ public and private enterprises across the African sub-continent, along with the support of 30+ top influential speakers and 20+ global cyber security solution providers – all with a focus on ‘creating a cyber safe Africa’.
